Season 6 is tomorrow! Well...from the time of this journal entry. Since it hasn't aired yet there isn't going to be any spoilers, and I won't mention any of the trailers and teasers.
What I like to talk about is my personal hopes and wishlist for MLP Season 6 to bring! Last season I was hoping for Dash to get her own solo song, and finally we got one! I did enjoy the theme of season 5 where they went to different places to solve friendship problems, but they were far too rushed. Each of those episodes has to spend 5-6 minutes just to write the characters to each location, cutting off any time to flesh out those places. Like the gryphon kingdom could've been more interesting if the writers was given more time. With that said, whatever the theme is for season 6 I hope its not a rushed concept, otherwise its no better than Cartoon Network's theme of 11 minute episodes on all their shows.
Enough babbling, heres my personal wishlist for season 6:

- More pony solo songs, or at least a new duet (Like Twi and Pinkie)
- A whole episode that is Celestia only.
- A Spike episode that isn't about him being greedy...again, that little guy can do so much more.
- Flooded with more pop culture references. (Who doesn't like a good reference?)
- CMC's helping others, while still being silly about it.
- More adult jokes! (Like the alcohol and bikini jokes from season 1)
- See Shy's parents, flesh out Dash's parents, AJ's parents (like what happened to hers)
- Actually... and Twi's parents too, I don't think they ever even talked.
- Enter the dragon type episode (character gets sick, others shrinks down and battles the illness from inside.)
And thats pretty much it. The new friend Starlight Glimmer is alright, but I'm hoping she isn't like.. a permanent new addition. I rather her be like Discord where we see him now and then. Also, I hope she is powered down. It was too convenient of a plot for her to suddenly be as powerful or more powerful than Twilight, especially since we saw none of that during Season 5 premiere.
So whats your personal wishlist? Even if my wishlist isn't fulfilled I'll be satisfied with season 6 if it makes me smile and laugh. Remember no spoilers, or mention of trailers or episode synopsis!

Opening Commission Queue - Jan 3, '24
I'll be opening up color and sketch commissions this week on Wednesday Jan 3, 9 AM US/Pacific. The goal is to finish 1-3 commissions per week, I don't want the queue to stay closed as long as before. (A YCH is also coming later this month) The prices are going to be about the same, for complex background pieces, the prices will be up by $5 more. Art Status, and my mental state.
Quick Summary: I'll cut to the chase, I'm embarrassed with how long my current commission queue has been taking. Not just that, but the lack of any kind of drawing progress. I'm going through a few things that has been affecting me, and if that is something you like to know, keep reading. Otherwise, here's the summary: I'm still determined to finish off the rest of the commissions, but won't reopen for more once it's done. I want to restore my drive to draw more, before I can confidently open the commission queue again, and not make people wait so long. Trips trips trips: Throughout May and June, I've been going on multiple different trips. Not personal ones, a lot of important trips. In fact, I just came back from one last week. Ordinarily these aren't much of an issue, but I struggle to resume or improve my routines. I like to spend plenty of time to stream artwork, but the time gets cut up with errands or not getting enough sleep the day before. Still, I've dealt with these kinds
