My Setup 2014 by Tsitra360 My Setup 2014 by Tsitra360
I realized I never made a setup shot. This is how I work!  I have my cintiq on the left, with my iMac on the right suspended around on arm that allows me to swivel it to any angle or height.  I also got myself a new desk that can lower and raise with the push of a button. Got the idea when I visited an art studio where everyone was standing while drawing, I do it too.

Got a pic of your desk setup? I would love to see it.  Doesn't matter if its on a cardboard box or if its fancy holograms, I love seeing setups :)

Nice wacom you have there... *slowly puts on burglar mask* XD
Mine's QUITE a bit more cramped, but it works!
(Bonus points: XD) I have one of your prints on the wall facing it. Your "Dashing Heights" is just so beautiful...

"Lower and raise her desk? Geez why would anyone ever need...."

I'm probably going to steal your stolen push-button desk idea :)

Got the idea when I visited an art studio. Everyone was standing and had desks that did the same thing. It's great actually, healthier than sitting all day.

Is that your tablet to the left of your keyboard?  Does that mean you're a lefty too? Lefties FTW!

That would be uncomfortable for me, I would like the monitors close to each other and have the other computer parts under the desk on a plastic mat (so it doesn't conduced static electricity, I learned not to put these parts on the floor from my big brother who knows more than me about computers). Although, I do like the lighting of the location, it is easy to the eye. I have almost no experience with making computer art though. By the way, can you tell me what art tool you use?

The computer and Cintiq has nothing touching the floor. I have quite a fancy cabling setup in the back.  Also I can bring the computer monitor even closer, the arm I attached to it is very flexible in maneuvering.

Sorry to be off-topic here but what is up with all of these people going "there's a lot of money in that photo" and stuff like that? He's an ARTIST, guys. And a good one at that. Whether he's rich or not is inconsequential: he will try to save up as much as he can if that means he can get all the ART EQUIPMENT he needs. I get that for most of you, art is just a hobby. At this point it's just a hobby for me too. But some people make a living out of it or it's their life-long passion. Your comments are the drawing/painting equivalent of going up to a great guitar player on stage and saying "OMG you have this awesome, really expensive, really "pro" guitar?!? You're SO LUCKY, I only have a second-hand Squier for my once-a-month playing-around-the-house gigs!".

See what I mean?
