the jumpiness is due to the slowness of people's browsers not your animation. (at least as far as i can tell) this is very good for your first time! mine was so pitiful i wanted to cry lol. of course, i was working with a more complicated subject that i had never drawn before (i must say i was to excited to be sensible) one thing you might think about is maybe adding a purposeful lag at the beginning or end of the animation. that way it feels less repetitive, even though it lops (sorry for the ridiculously long comment, animation is one of my favorite subjects)
Yeah! Yeah that's awesome! First off, are we going to see more animations in the future, as in, just some random ones? Second, are you going to color her? Third, is she saying something and if so, what is she saying?
I started an animation yesterday of Luna. I would recommend this guys animations.(Grant Beaudette-[link]) He does it with flash, but its still good to watch. He shows you timings and other animation requirements. He does stick to Mlp, buts did do a few for other cartoons. Just watching them has improved mine by a bit. Its still takes time and practice, and a load of patience.
